Since I live in a small town about 35-40 minutes from a big city (Spokane, WA) I try to make the most of my trips. First on my list was the fabric store, to pick up some corduroy fabric for the cushions in my vintage trailer. Next I needed the electrical supplies to wire my new shed (Karen’s Koop). Naturally, the electrical isle was the busiest isle at HD. I knew the items I needed but finding them in that jungle…another matter all together.
One more stop was called for…… YES….another necessity!
For fun…..later. (Can you believe this haul, each one of those little metal frames was .49! Opps, I forgot the senior discount! lol)
For Karen’s Koop.
For my Etsy….after repurposing.
Karen’s Koop….just wait and see! I see white shabby chic here!
For my Craft Room…I was thrilled to find one of these! My friend, Sharon has one on her art table; full of pens, exacto knives, scissors, etc. and I wanted one! Needless to say when I hit the check stand, my cart was full and I am embarrassed to say, I lived up to my name….THE VINTAGE BAG LADY!!!
This is how Sharon keeps her brushes…rolled up. Isn’t this an adorable idea. She got hers at Fred Meyer’s but I have an old thrift store place mat, made out of reeds and all I need to do is make some pockets with the fabric of my choice and roll her up with a tie!
Looks like I missed out on a whole lot of fun!! I'm lusting for those little frames already Sis
ReplyDeleteSounds like you hit the jackpot and had a fun shopping outing.
ReplyDeleteWe live 30 miles from the big city also..... it's so nice to live in a small town and close to a large city.
I can't wait to see your 'coop' and 'trailer' when your finished...
Have a fun weekend with your projects!
