I had an opportunity to make a Birthday card for my dear friend, Sharon, this last week. I wanted to make a collage…always thought it would be fun….and it was. I had some gorgeous printed tissue paper (thanks, Gracie) and it layered so well. I threw in a few rough textures and she was done.
We celebrated her birthday on Sunday with a trip to Trader Joe’s (new store) right here in Spokane, WA. Lunch at a Bistro and then some thrifting. Can it get any better than that? Happy Birthday, sweet Sharon.
I only got an inside picture…but isn’t this store beautiful…look at those colors! I’m ready to go again….anyone want to join me?
I hear rumors of another store or two in this area and a possible distribution point. They said this was the biggest opening they have ever had…..How ‘bout that Spokane?
cuuuute card, and I am sure she loved it, and enjoyed the time with you.

What a beautiful card and sentiment. She's lucky to have you as a friend and obviously you feel the same way. I wish we had a Trader Joe's...they're great. I have no stores around here. And when I say NO STORES....Walmart is 45 minutes away! Anything else you're talking 2-3 hours away. You LUCKY!!!! Sounds like a great day with your friend!
