These three Peonies are from my June 2009 garden…
Three from June 2010…
June 2011
Please excuse me while I get a much needed color fix, things are so drab here. Spring really could come soon…(I hope, I hope, I hope). I’m waiting….somewhat patiently. (Can’t you see?)
Now that I see these, I think I must plant more of them this year. They are so delicate, so feminine…..so lovely. Oh, for Spring eternal.
I love the color and you can post more! I can't believe the stores are filled with racks and racks of seeds for flowers to vegetables. Yes, I have Spring Fever but it is way to early to plant. I have several peonies in my yard but I also want more. Enjoy your weekend and I will keep my figures cross for sun!
ReplyDeleteWOW, Karen! Thank you for those lovely spring inspiring pictures! They got my day off to a colorful start! I will THINK SPRING! :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Yes! Yes!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful and I love peonies! When I fist came to Arkansas people would talk about a flower called peOnies with the emphasis on the second syllable "O"..I had no idea what they were talking about until someone showed me and I said "Oh! You mean PEonies...emphasis on the first syllable....they said no, they meant peOnies! LOL! That's how they pronounce it down here!
ReplyDeletethey are beautiful. Looking forward to gardening again.

One of my favorite flowers! The weather has been so temperate here in the Midwest, it feels like Spring!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful spring flowers...and I can't wait for spring and new beginnings...
ReplyDeleteStunning photographs. I sure am looking forward to all the beautiful spring flowers too. We haven't had much of a winter here, the hills around here are still brown.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your pretty 2012 blooms.
