It was another beautiful day, so I hustled out to my vintage trailer and got right to work. I wanted to create some added storage space by hanging some hooks in the closet.
I reorganized all my cupboards, earlier in the week, so I was able to stock a few groceries and other items, today.
And last but not least, I finally finished hanging a light fixture over the sink. I had to adapt an old one to fit the spot. Got the propane tanks full, and charging the battery tonight. So I am ready to hit the road the end of next week.
I love my little trailer dish towel…..
With the addition of the flooring late last fall, I am now finished with ‘Driving Ms. Daisy’, except for some graphics on the exterior. I also got a brand new spare tire so I am good for long distances, as one of my trips this summer is to the ocean.
Driving Miss Daisy looks lovely. She is all ready for another year of wonderful adventures. Enjoy!!

Looks like you are ready for the open road and a lot of fun!

ReplyDeleteI just love Ms Daisy! Your colors are what I hope to use as accents in my next home.
So where are you off to now? Somewhere to rondevous with that long, tall cowboy?
No long tall cowboy in my life...and that works best for me. Heading a bit south only a couple hours away but hopefully warmer. It's raining here now.
DeleteOh, it looks adorable. For those of us where it's not quite camping weather yet, you are giving us hope! Such a sweet trailer...
ReplyDeleteHappy trails,
Beth
Those pictures of Miss Daisy always make my heart go pitter-pat. I will think of you on all your glamping excursions...and wish I had my own little trailer to haul around. Til then (probably never) I will live vicariously...so keep posting those fun pictures!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I trailer has a red stove too. Great minds think alike!!

It looks so pretty and I love the colors you have chosen. Can't wait to hear all about your trips. Such fun!
ReplyDeleteYou are one talented lady....love seeing your trailer and when you go on the road.
ReplyDeleteWhat an ADORABLE HIDE-AWAY! WOW! Equipped with stove and all...who needs a cowboy! Just give me some books and paper and pencil! But your little caravan is a wonderful ride into a dream world! Thank you so very much for visiting! Anita
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your trailer! I wish hubby and I could do that with one, but I'm not sure we'd fit! We are tall, so I'll have to design one for my office some day.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my eye open for a long tall cowboy, but would you settle for a short one if that's what I find?
ReplyDeleteBliss
Nope...no settling! :)
DeleteYour trailer is adorable..I know that Beverly (Bee Haven Acres) would love to have a visit from you...
ReplyDeleteNext kitchen colors!!
ReplyDeleteHoney, I love your life...I wish I could say...Move Over! LOL!!

She's looking mighty fine! I love that dish towel and that priceless pillow. You're going to have a great summer!!
ReplyDeleteKaren, she's looking great as always. Love what you have done. May need to steal some of your ideas. :)
ReplyDeleteDid you redo your stove or is it a new vintage looking one? and if so where did you get it !
ReplyDeleteDid you redo your stove or is it a new vintage looking one? and if so where did you get it !
ReplyDeleteYes, I did refinish the stove. I had it powder coated. You can buy Drivetrain paint at any automotive shop and it would work great, as it is ok up to 800 degrees. It comes in about a dozen colors.
DeleteWhat Brand/Manufacturer is your gorgeous stove? Love the whole caravan!
DeleteLove all your pictures! Your color choices are inspiring Karen. I'm redoing my Vintage 1974 Terry Travel Trailer. Her name is LUCY! She's bright and full of color just how I like it. Thank you for your site. Grama Debbie
