you could make your own soap.....
Tip: Leave bar soap by the sink. BECAUSE: Most liquid soap comes in nonrenewable plastic packaging. Substituting one bottle with a bar in each U S home would keep 2.5 million pounds of plastic out of landfills. If you are using antibacterial soaps, just use a pretty glass or metal container instead.
Check out the cookie jar in the corner.....way, cool!
Making soap has become very popular and especially now with 'green' being all the rage. You can stop over at Mother Earth News and see how to make homemade soap.
http://www.motherearthnews.com/Modern-Homesteading/Make-Handmade-soap.aspx Or you can check out http://www.etsy.com/ where you will find lots of homemade soaps. And here are some MaryJane Farmgirls with shops: http://www.naturemaiden.com/ or http://www.lemonverbenasoap.etsy.com/ and here's a MaryJane farmgirl with homemade cotton dishcloths to help with those dishes http://www.kpaints.etsy.com/ ! That's me, of course, and I have lots of pretties to share with everyone. Come on over and check it out.
