This year I am going to grow more plants in pots, that way my garden is a movable feast for the eyes, as well, as the tummy! Yes, I plan to put more veggies in pots this year. I have a lot of shade here, in pots, I can keep them on the move….to the sun. If I start anything that can’t stay out over the winter, I can bring them inside.
Plus I love that I can fill in the bare spots, with a flowering potted plant, anytime I need one. Potted plants need a bit more maintenance, so I will be watering regularly and giving them lots of room to grow in larger pots.
You can add color wherever you want it!
I would love to do this with Dill, I just love the smell of it!
How simple is this?

ReplyDeleteGreat idea, and some fun ways to accomplish it.
ReplyDeleteToo bad we cannot spread some of this wetness over summer, just enough to keep pots watered. =)

ReplyDeleteI put most of my plants in pot or containers of some sort. Plus the hanging ones. Can't wait to get started. I usuallu have everything in around Mother's Day, but we will see, its been such a wacky spring.

I love container gardening...so many possibilities. These are wonderful! Everyone should plant a toilet! The soup cans are so simple, but make a real statement. They all made me smile.
