Recent Thrift Finds…

This little guy just looked at me and that was it!  I really like his high waist pants!  He’s very retro and all homemade.  Got the lunch pail for a toolbox, for my vintage trailer; ‘Driving Ms. Daisy’.  I think I might be spraying it red or the yummy teal in my trailer.

Some rather ugly hooks, replaced with these….

A few coats of primer and paint and an added faucet handle….a whole new look!

In my pursuit of all things Mexican, for my vintage trailer, I found this wool vintage jacket on Etsy.  I have really enjoyed wearing it.  It needs of a lot of TLC as a lot of the threads are loose.  I recently found a bag of wool yarns in many colors for $1, so I will get to work on this in the fall.

Isn’t the back just a blast?  Love it and it’s really warm but lightweight.

  I added a aged page, from a 1912 music score, to this romantic vintage frame and it’s headed to my Etsy shop.

    The sock monkey reminds me of the one my grandmother kept for us as kids. How sweet.

    I might do those faucet hooks in the bathroom in the guest house..I don't have any yet...the jacket looks like it was made from a Mexican tablecloth..love it!

    Stopping in by way of Time Travel Thursday. Notice you're in WA. I loved living there (Whidbey) years ago. One of my absolute favorite places. Amen to your Erma Bombeck quote.
