Hope you aren’t tired of chicken pictures….yet. Because here’s a few from a day at my Painted Lady Farm.
This happened so fast…it’s all blurry but Dash really wants to play with ‘his’ girls! They are not that crazy about it.
Awwh, come on….just for a few minutes….
All right, I’ll just be safe here with my Mom.
As ‘big brother’… I need to keep an eye out for my sisters.
The girls, Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhart and Rosa Parks (way in the back) were checking out the Secret Garden between the house and the garage.
Those flowers look tasty!
Thanks, Dash, you are a wonderful ‘big brother’!
What a sweet face Dash has there in the last picture! I see you are letting them roam wild and free!! Your girls have more wattle and comb than mine do. I am still ever so patiently (not) waiting for my first eggs!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome pictures...and fun!!

I love your chicken pictures!! Don't stop. I may eventually have some pictures of mine on.

Well you know me, I never tire of seeing your girls. Can you say "HOT LEGS"...
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful, can tell they are well taken care of.
And smart too, they know a good thing and would not dare to run off.
Dash is in training for becoming a hen herder.
Thanks so much everyone! I do so love them. And Dash is a Bichon Frise...part Maltese and Poodle.
ReplyDeleteDash is doing a good job as the older brother, he has to watch out for the younger sisters. These pictures are adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm soooo behind on reading blogs. Sure glad I didn't miss these precious pictures!!! Your secret garden is beautiful and your girls and Dash....... HOW CUTE IS THAT!!!!!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! When I had my chickens, my Maltese was none to happy that they were around. But she was quite a prima donna and thought that ALL attention should be directed toward HER. ;)
