My girls do a ‘walk about’ every day, when I am home. It has been very cold and dark most days….but oh, how they love to huddle up in the sun. Eating all those bugs in the yard, it’s a lot of work, a girl needs a break…and one in the sun…can’t get any better than that!

We have a family of foxes nearby. I can hear them yipping in the night. They're one of the reasons I don't have a few chickens roaming around. It makes me appreciate your photos and stories all the more. Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteI hope we get a patch of sun today, but I don't think it will be warm enuf to sit in the grass. Maybe we need to grow feathers and down?
ReplyDeleteCheck out my sidebar, there is a retreat in the works for RV's and countryside.
ReplyDeleteyour girls are so pretty Karen!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it. We've been a bit cool the past couple of days too. Even got some much needed rain. The bees & hummingbirds are still wanting more sugar water....of which I do oblige. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThey are looking fabulously healthy!
ReplyDeleteYour girls have to be the most pampered gals. You can tell they are well taken care of due to their bright eyes and perfect feathers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect way for the girls to spend the day.
