Vintage Rust

rust 007

I believe this is from the 20’s or 30’s…an old railroad sign.  Each button on the letters was to reflect light.

This is really not vintage but I love it….’cause it’s rusty!

I love old sickles, I have several, and the old rot iron gate is from our local cemetery.  No, I am not a grave robber….

Guess I should retitle this post, not vintage, either. But I love this handmade tote.

A new acquisition, a large rusty green disk.

Do you think this is a sign….that I should ‘hit the road again’….soon?

I like the shadow of the chicken run door, with the sun on it.

rust 014

Very, very vintage barbed wire.

I think this is the top to an old kerosene freestanding fireplace.

I couldn’t get rid of this….it’s the mattress coils from the 1959 Aljo trailer that imploded.

I love all your rustic goodies!!
That RR sign is so neat-I've never seen one that old.
It all makes me wonder about the one time owners and what their lives where like so long ago.
Another trip? I just want to make that long trip home!!
    Take care-Kimberly

  5. All the pieces are nice, especially the wrought iron. It's getting hard to find.

  9. I have been computerless so I am trying to catch up.

I love these pics and items. I now wish I had not thrown out that old porch light that looks like that lantern you have posted. I could have made a lamp out of it...
