I took this frame apart today and spray painted it white, then white again….and again….and then I put a bronze glaze on it and then a Champagne Gold glaze, and made it into a Chalkboard. And then I changed my mind and sprayed it burnished silver. And then….. I added it to my etsy shop. Since I was on a roll, I decided to make some mini blackboards, as well. These pictures were ok but the horses weren’t the most attractive…so….These were sprayed with a burnished silver and touchup with some Champagne Gold highlights. And off they went to my www.thevintagebaglady.etsy.com shop.
You are sooo clever...just went and took a jot around your store, it is wonderful!

Oh my goodness..the salt and pepper shakers made my heart skip a beat; we had the exact one sitting on the back of our stove at my grandma's and my mother's house. Good memories!
ReplyDeleteI love what you've done with the frames....
Hugs,
I love what you did. Such a classy chalkboard. Would look good in my new craft room but still putting in insulation so will be awhile before I move in my goodies.
ReplyDeletevery smart and chic! I love chalkboards, make them all the time, but I love your idea and finished look of the smaller ones! Beautiful job!

Oh, if we could always hit on the perfect color for our projects the first time around. Your end result was perfect though. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the party. I hope to have you join in each week.
