Last Saturday, I got to go thriftin’ with my friend, Sharon and ‘our’ daughters. Today I thought I would share some of my finds from our local thrift stores, here in Spokane, WA. I have renamed my Smart Tips Tuesday segment…..hope you like the change…it’s an experiment. Please let me know your thoughts on that. Yes, she is a real mess, Chase and Sandborn Coffee , wait a minute…..it says Steelcut…I thought that was for oatmeal. Hummm.
Isn’t this a real beauty, it’s heavy ceramic. $2 And this little oddities from 1911….another $1. Ok, I had to cough it up for this frame…$4. It’s a very old 8 by 10 and I am already working on a project with it. Stay tuned! There are a few more small pieces but I will save them for later….check back soon!
And the very best for last…a two for one….no, not the price…one knob is gold and one is silver! And yes, it was a little more than the other items but my daughter and I are spliting the price so that makes it a real good deal! Stay tuned for the door knob projects, coming when the temps hit in the 50’s!
Karen, I like either Thriftin' Time Tuesday or Smart Tips....every little bit of info helps! and is fun for me...
