I promised to make curtains for my grandson's bedroom upon my return to the US this last October and I did indeed get them started at that time. However, the holidays arrived, along with gift making. :) So I decided I had to get them done before I started my new quilt. The fabrics were chosen from those left over from the crib quilt I made for him and a basic brown to go with his blues and greens. 
These two will form the bottom borders.
i have not gotten my sewing machine out for so long! I don't know what is wrong with me.....I do want new linen curtains for our living room though...you have inspired me.
