Old mini sewing machines

I am dedicating this post to my friend Kat_mom4@yahoo.com who is addicted to sewing machines. She uses hers everyday, however. These little gems are usable but were designed for children, I think. Although, the Brother was probably used by adults. As far as I know these work fine, I have never felt the need to try them. I love my Bernina, that I bought used back in the early 80's just when the computer types came out. I thought the computer types would just be some thing more complicated to work on so I opped for a basic and have been thrilled ever since. I happened to see some of the new models made by Bernina recently and was stunned by the prices. However, they sure do some fancy things. Some machines just do embroidery and nothing else! They all seem a bit complicated to use so, I guess I will stick with the basics as I am a basic kind of gal.
