….you actually spent quality time with your family?
...got outside for physical activity?
….watched a very little TV?
And little, she was!
…watched wholesome entertainment? Been awhile, huh?
…there was actual service at a gas station?
….you heard the Good Humor van’s music a block away?
….you talked on the phone for ages, attached to the wall?
Yep, things have changed, some for the better, some for the worse. Have these changes affected us adversely? Are we richer for having known the past? We are the sum of these parts and we all have an opinion on that, I’m sure!

ReplyDeleteI think about this a lot but don't know if there is a right or wrong answer...I'm sure our parents thought the same thing and heaven knows what will be going on in twenty years...I'm seriously thinking about having my hubby lock my computer in the safe during the day..I have no self control...but blogging is so FUN so I think what does it hurt? Like having coffee with your neighbor to me...
ReplyDeleteOh my....my childhood revisited!!! They were the good ole days...at least from the standpoint of being a kid. I am not sure though, if I would want to be a woman in those days....we have come a long way!
