Christmas Giveaway

One last giveaway for the year 2010!  This beautiful Christmas Quilt was made by a fabulous daily quilter (not me!) and I just wanted to share it.

baskets 005

This quilt looks larger here than it really is…..it’s a lap quilt or wall hanging, measuring 48” by 35”.baskets 006 I wish you could see all the sparkles and gold embellishments.  It is corded in a shiny gold edging….very lovely!  The beautiful poinsettias are stitched with a flower motif, as well.  The back is a solid teal to match, where the quilting in flowers is just lovely.baskets 007

A winner will be chosen on Sunday morning at 9am PST and I will get it shipped out right away so you can enjoy it for Christmas!

Please tell me ‘your favorite Christmas present of all time’, and I will put you in the draw.  Mine was a little black and white box purse with a handle….I was five!

  4. What a lovely quilt to be giving away....and what a fun christmas touch it would be to my hotel room (ha!!! doesn't that make your heart bleed)?

You will think this to be odd but my most favorite present was when I was eight years old and was given a big bible...I just loved smelling the pages and promised myself that I would read it one day.

  10. This is a beautiful quilt. Growing up we didn't have much money -- my favorite gift was pop beads when I was about 9 years old. My mom picked them out for me just before she became extremely ill. A single gift doesn't seem like much in this day and age, but I was thrilled.

  12. hmmm, my favorite gift,,,that's a hard one, because as a child every gift was my favorite...but I especially remember one special year,,,daddy was deployed to Korea so mom, baby sis & I moved in with my american Grandma...That Christmas I received my much desired Cinderella watch, but the best gift came from my dad to my mom, a strand of Pearls, which I now have in my keeping. Special memories.
