Thriftin’ Time Tuesday
Last week I promised you another door knob project. My daughter, Tracy, wanted to get started on her project. She has been collecting knobs for a few months but she wasn’t sure what she really wanted to do with them. At the last minute she came up with a great idea!
What did she get when she added these……
to this? (Isn’t this window to die for? She has had it for years..I couldn’t get it away from her!)
Hummm…..maybe this…or this…
Some base plates….. plus some gorgeous antique door knobs are about to be transformed into some antique window altered art. Some measuring, some drilling and ….. that leads to
this…… and
this…….
Great job, Tracy! Are you sure you don’t want to leave it here for awhile?
I'll be be at the party.....

Wowza! I'm loving this. I think you just might have to get it permanently attached to your wall. What a gorgeous window and you know I love those door knobs.

ReplyDeleteBravo! I am standing clapping my hands. This is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteGood Job. Where does Tracy plan to hang it? That is if she can pry it out of your hands!
ReplyDeleteCool idea. Like mother like daughter! Oh, and I have just the perfect place for it, too!!! HA!!
ReplyDeleteTracy certainly takes after her mother... with her artistic abilities.....
ReplyDeleteI love what she's done with this beautiful window and knobs...
GORGEOUS!!!
Hugs,
I love combining vintage treasures to create something with a new purpose. That kind of character just can't be achieved from brand new items. It looks terrific.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to the party. I would love to have you join me for "Funny Faux Pas Follies," as well. Click the party button in my sidebar for details.
