Karen’s Koop

I am so excited! My new shed, aka Karen’s Koop arrived late yesterday, just before my yoga class (oh, how I wanted to stay home!). These are pictures from the day before….the prep. Picking the site, leveling and gravel.

He had the most amazing equipment…it tipped the shed and then slowly removed itself.

When he got to the very corner, he was able to move it forward just a bit to square it up…amazing!

The final touch! Every coop needs a cupola!

I know, I know this is a whopping big Chicken coop….lol. It’s 10’ by 16’. But I get the majority of it for a work bench, green house, storage area. The coop will be at the blank end, so it will be 10’ by about 3-4’. I will be making a chicken wire wall, with an old screen door, to separate the two areas. I can't wait to start decorating! Just wait until you see what I have planned.

I kinda’ like how it sorta’ matches the style of my house. This was a display model and the first of this style that they have made. I think it is a real cute roof style. I obviously didn’t get to pick my colors but they blend in just fine.

Karen’s Koop is finally home….ahhhh…..Home Sweet Home…for Eleanor (Roosevelt), Amelia (Earhart), Rosa (Parks) and me!  Now the fun begins!

  2. Just too cute. Had to show this to Dean and his response was "If the rent is cheap enough, and you install a toilet and a tv, he'll move in"!
