Thriftin’ Time Tuesdays

I decided to ‘funky up’ (I may have picked that up from Donna over at Funky Junk) my second window, (mate to the one below) that’s in the laundry.  I have been doing some prep in this room.  I painted the windows, hamper, and bath moldings all white.  I love the added light it gave me!

I picked up a cute little shelf from the thrift a while back, I had planned to do a ‘white out’ on it but decided to give it a try the way it was.  I was going to put a bunch of shelves on this window to hold bath items…..but this is what I got!

Yep, a great big giant jewelry hanger!  Things happen when you create!  Just go with the flow.
I just used cup hooks to hang everything.  The frosting on the windows?  It was already there…but you can buy spray ‘frosting’ at most craft stores.

Now for some hearts made out of old tin ceiling tiles I found at etsy, (http://www.cottageinthesun.etsy.com/).  Aren’t they adorable?

I also added some draw pull parts to the top and bottom of the window.

It rained most of the day so instead of working on my vintage trailer (Ms Daisy) or the chicken coop (Karen’s Koop)…I got something done inside!  Yeah!
