I know I have three chickens but Sunday morning this is what I found in the Chicken Mansion…..
Amazing….it looks like Eleanor is trying to catch up to her sisters, she got a late start. The fourth egg has a very delicate thin shell, it’s the one on the lower right. Keep them coming, girls!
Good morning Karen. I love the simple, sheer beauty of that bowl of fresh eggs!
ReplyDeleteAnd when you get a minute, go see my blog post! I have eggciting news!!!
You are blessed beyond belief and I dare say so are the girls, they are giving back big time...get it?...big time!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy they fruit of their labor...
We started out in April with ten hens and two roosters. We lost one hen and just butchered a (MEAN)rooster. So down to nine hens and one rooster. They seem happier with the mean one gone. I know I am! Lots of eggs coming in.

Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteSure would be nice to have fresh eggs everyday, even if they don't match. I know they taste much better then the ones I get at the store. I think your girls are doing a great job.
