Squiggly Words

In the last week, I have seen a real decline in comments on my posts and couldn’t figure it out.  I mean, I know it is Spring, in some parts of the country and people are busy outside.  But…  I had visited several blogs where you had to type out those time consuming, awful, squiggly words.  I personally hate them! My old eyes just can’t decipher them…it takes me several tries and by then, I don’t have the same sweet attitude about the post, anymore….sorry!

So today I decided to check my comments setup and sure enough, it somehow had gotten switched over to that horrible dreadful place….the SQUIGGLY WORDS!!!  (Horrible music background…OH, NO!!!!) I just can’t do it!!!

I am now CLEAN….no more SQUIGGLY WORDS…aww…I feel so much better.  I hope you will all be back soon for a visit to my CLEAN comment section.  Thanks, for your patience!

  1. I never did experience "squiggly words" on your comment page. Blogger must have sneaked in there and checked it on at some time. If I ever see it, I'll let you know. If you ever see it on my blog, please let me know.

  2. Hummmmmm, no squiggle words for me either! But I have to agree with you about the old eyes and how many attempts it takes. that I usually give up and say to heck with the comment. I guess it is suppose to be for security. I've never had any problem with comment so I've never felt the need for it.
I hope your comments return but don't worry I'm not going anywhere and will continue to jabber!
I'm still in rain rain go away mood! Hugs!!

  3. Hooray for no squiggly words. I detest them, but it never keeps me from commenting. I have, however, been busier than a one armed paper hanger lately, and have not been in to see all of my favorite blogs as of late. So sorry for that. I did read up and see what I have been missing in your neck of the woods. Looks like lots of rain, and some fabulous thrifting! Love that red napkin holder, and the quilt...swoon!!! Hope the rain subsides soon so you can get out and play! Looks a tad threatening here today too. We don' get much rain, but wouldn't you know it, we have had it every single weekend and we are trying to get a ton done before hosting our families here for Easter. Grrrr!!
    Happy Saturday to you!

  5. I know, I detest "word verification". In my mind if you want my comment or anyone's you should get rid of it unless you just like to hear yourself talk. LOL! I'm just plain behind on reading my "favs" like you because of mowing, window washing, you name it! I probably follow way too many and I almost always comment. I love your picture..that is so precious. Oh, and I will send the book on as soon as I have time! LOL!

  6. I'm not sure but I think blogger is randomly eatiing comments again. I have gone back to several of my fav blogs to read other people's comments and I swear I have commented but 25% of the time my comment is not there...

  8. Oh my gosh I hear you! Sometimes it takes 3 tries for me to get it right. I have gotten so that instead or putting my trifocals against the screen I just guess as quickly as I can and they seem to get clearer as each set comes up. lol...I guess whatever it takes. Thanks for changing yours!
