I love the sea…where life begins… And what a beautiful start to our visit to Turkey.
I don’t even begin to know what pictures to show you…I loved Istanbul…I never would have guessed.
The Blue Mosque.
Early….fish market. We might have been a little lost here….but only for a minute or so.
We were headed to the Spice Market….look at all these beautiful colors!
I just had to get some of these lovely freshly dried teas!
Do you have your cup of joe?…(this is a long post.)
Just outside the Spice Market…a Mosque, with the tall minarets.
The interior was millions of little tiny mosaics…..everywhere!
These photographers do not do justice to these beautiful tiles!
After a cup of real Turkish coffee (yum) we were fortified enough to hit the Markets again.
Look how fresh everything is!!!
A floating kitchen, just under the bridge, we crossed to the market.
Safely back home, again.
Probably my favorite stop of all.
ReplyDeleteThose fruits are to die for. Did you try any? The spices look so delicious. I hope you got some to try. Thanks for sharing.
