I started this painting a couple weeks ago for my grandchild and was waiting for his birth to paint the background. A 'boy-blue', a 'girl-pink' kind of thing. So blue it is. I am almost done with it. My daughter saw a picture stretched on fabric on the internet and it was kinda' pricey. So I decided to surprise her with a copy of it. I just drew it out on the canvas (and boy, was I rusty!) and did an easy 'paint by number' job. It has inspired me to paint again, so I am planning to start another painting this week.

A Painting for Grayson
