Eastern Washington

This is Vantage, Washington and a rare beauty it is! It is almost prehistoric.

This is Wild Horse Monument by David Govedare (he did the sculpture of the running figures in River Front Park, Spokane, Wa. as well). The sculpture is called "Grandfather Cuts Loose the Ponies based on Indian legend depicting the first ponies on earth. This sculpture was introduced in 1989 to celebrate the Washington State Centennial Celebration. It is located right of I-90 and I have driven by it a million times....

It is so majestic and a bit unbelievable.
