I took that picture in Botswana at our first safari camp..our first night there. My tent was near a swamp and the hippos came out at night and walked around my tent....they were very noisy and scared me to death!!! I wasn't sure what was out there!!
I always wanted to go to Africa but doesn't look like I'll make it now. I have no immune system and they told me I wouldn't last a day! LOL! But I did get to do some traveling before that so I am blessed with some great adventurous memories and a few terrifying moments like yours but no hippos were involved! Thanks for sharing...at first I was afraid it was your house and all the storms you've been having! WHEW!

That's just plain beauty right there. Are you getting the snow that I keep hearing about Washington is getting?
