Vintage Trailer Painting

ms daisy 018 (1024x783)  Driving Ms. Daisy, my 1969 Shasta 1400 trailer, came to me in October of 2010.  I wasn’t able to work on her until May of 2011.  I started on the inside.

She was pretty ugly.  Being a retired painting contractor, I knew just what to do….grab some paint and cover everything!

So I got it covered…..didn’t I?  But I wasn’t able to work outside without protection from the elements…of which there are many in this area…always.

So I finally, bit the bullet and took her to a auto body painter.  I got her home yesterday and I am in love, all over again!!  I took out the wings, I got on ebay, (every Shasta needs her wings), and figured out how they could be attached and now she looks….well, ……..you tell me!

  1. I love it! The wings make her. She looks like she would go flying down the highway in search of the "Sisters on the Fly". It makes me want one really bad. Your posts on your adventures with the "sisters" look like a hoot. Can't wait to see more. Have a grreat weekend.
