Ouch

ms d 001

I loaned out my trailer last weekend and she got hurt.

As you can imagine I was very sad.  I think I may have found someone to fix her and will be meeting with him early next week.  I already had some dry rot issues on the lower part of this side and a door that I needed redone, so it was just time for me to get her already for winter at White Bird, ID.

I don’t know how long it will take and how she will look, as finding vintage siding is not easy.  But it will be good to know she is truly road ready, when she is done.

As a side note, we lost power for 17 hours after another storm.  And I got stung twice on the hand by yellow jackets….and I am allergic.  What a weekend!

  1. Drat! Not what you ever want to have happen, and I'm sure you're very bummed about it. But she will come back even better than before!

  15. dont know why these things happen when we loan out something dear to us, things like this happen but if its something we do not particularly care for, nothing happens. I do hope you are able to get Miss D looking like new like you had her.
