Men's wear

I got the main body of the quilted throw done today, now on to the borders. I am going to run this by Grandson #1 to see if he likes this for his quilt or if he will wait for the black and white he seems to prefer. In which case, I would add some rows to this before I add the borders, to make it large enough for his bed. I think I would use this pattern again but probably not for awhile. I prefer to make more choices on fabric placement than this pattern allowed.
There are some fab fabrics here: Masterworks by Kathy Hall for Andover Fabrics, Metro goes Au Naturel by Michele D'Amore for Marcus Fabrics and Inkwell by Judie Rothermel for Marcus Fabrics. I could not help but think of men's suit when I saw these fabrics thus the title.

  1. That throw is beautiful and it goes without saying that you do an awesome job on your quilts...

  2. Thanks, I have done the front and back and am not doing the quilting with my new walking foot. It was hard to get use to but I think I am going to like it.
