Art in Nature

These are pictures I took on my vacations.....wish I was laying right here under the palm tree on St. Lucia, again, right now! I can almost feel the sun on my face.
Poison mushrooms on elephant dung in Africa. We had stopped for afternoon tea on our safari and I really scared the guide when I showed him this picture. "You didn't touch those did you?"

Nyala Reserve in Africa.

I just love the contrast in this picture, to me it represents, old and new.

Taken in the Amazon: I had no idea bamboo got this big...and so beautiful.
I wanted to share these photos of the art we find in nature, truly stunning stuff!

  1. Thanks so much. I love taking them.

  2. oh how I wish it were I can play in my garden & grow vibrant flowers like these,,,,as for the Bamboo, isn't it amazin all their uses? flooring, fabric fibers, even food.... you don't suppose Bamboo is Winter zone 5 hardy? lol!

  3. Actually, I have seen some growing here in Cheney for years and I have seen it in Seattle. It grow like a weed....and can take over, which probably why they needed to make some things out of ti! lol
