Driving Ms. Daisy kind of Day

Our dear Maryjane's Farmgirl, Amanda (Firemama) took us (Gracie-Katmom and I-Kpaints) on a driving Ms' Daisies kind of day out on the Palouse. Yes, loose on the Palouse, we were.....and it was all about thrifting! She condescended to drive us old SOB's (spunky old broad's) around looking for fun distractions from the deary rainy day that it was. And as deary as it was, I got this lovely picture of the gorgeous clouds. We had a lot of fun stopping in Rosalia and Oaksdale (site of MaryJane's Farmgirl Fest last July) digging in the piles of junktiques at The Country Attic in Oaksdale. It turns out the new owners of this shop are the parents of our very own, Michele (Huckleberrywine) of Rosalia! What a wonderful surprise for all of us!
Tomorrow I will show you pics of some of my finds. I did real good!

  2. What a great way to spend the day. The Palouse is such a beautiful drive, and has some awesome shops along the way. Can't wait to see what you found.
