Sharon and I spent the entire day at the Quilt show yesterday. I just had to share some of the wonderful beauties, we saw.
Some were very whimsical. Isn’t this the cutest thing ever? So much detail, I was blown away! My photos do not do these beautiful designs, justice! What a wild and crazy quilt! I love the use of rick rack on this!
This was one of my favorites….again, the detail!! Love the edges too. I totally love this one!!! The colors, the details…the circles! And look at this wool beauty! I love all the details and the expressions on the animals faces! Just fabulous! And as you might guess, I have saved the best for last (my opinion).
This entire quilt was hand done!!!! It took her eight years. But what a reward!
Ok, I have just one more, just so I can leave a really big smile on your faces!
Sorry about some of these pictures, they are not as sharp as they should be, I also had a smudge on my camera lens and so right in the center of some pictures, it is fuzzy! Some days, I should just stay home….but this was not one of them! It was an incredible experience and I learned a lot.
Wow!! You got more sharp pictures than I did. But then ... you are the best photographer around. It was a wonderful day together again.
