    Love it. In Arizona, the bales are square. What is the purple flower. That couldn't be alfalfa? Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

    This reminds me of the time we were in the NW and they were baling those big round bales...the JD tractor was just spitting them out one right after another. I had never seen it before. We must have watched it for a hour...doesn't take much to entertain us..ha!

    Yes, this is alfalfa and the purple weed is Vetch...which I hear all farmers hate. It is a vine that probably gets wrapped around their equipment all the time.

    Love the field pictures with the Hay. Makes me miss home. I love the smell when the hay is being cut.
    The hat party was so cute as is your daughter in Grandma's hat. Fun idea for a party.
