An Early Christmas Present

new camera 002

I was forced to buy myself a new camera…my old one was giving up the ghost.  I got another Panasonic Lumix, as I’ve always loved the results.

I haven’t had any time to use it yet but while waiting for an appointment, luckily I was alone, I took a few shots.

Not a great shot but it was taken through the window….even this surprised me.

It takes black and white and sepia, as well.

There are no real flowers in the yard and no bugs, this time of year so my subject matter is not the best.  But I am able to get some real live close ups and I can’t wait to experiment.

A close up of some picture frame molding.  Love the zoom!

You can even see the dust on the rim of this pot….opps!

A regular setting (auto focus) and one of many options, below, is one I know I am going to be playing with a lot.

This room is always dark and with this setting, look how much light, I got!

  1. Oh fun!!! Bring it out on Monday so I can (steal it) see how it works. But don't forget to (leave it) remember to take it home.
