Third Time is the Charm

I just had to do it again……I spent a good part of the day in the ER.  I did however, try a different method of transport this time….911, ambulance.  The one good thing about that is that they were able to catch me actually having my crisis, so were able to record it.  I now know what’s going on with my heart, at least what it is doing…..A Fibb.

Now I will be able to get an appointment to see a Cardiologist soon.  (They are to call me tomorrow.)  No one seems to know why the hospital wanted me to have an appointment to see a Neurologist…and not a Cardiologist.  Crazy, huh? I got a much sweeter ride home; with my daughter, Tracy and my youngest grandson, Maxwell.  It sure was good to see them both!

  1. Oh Karen! I am so sorry and how scary! Glad you called 911. Well, bless your sweet heart! I will continue to pray for you and keep you in my thoughts. May your appointment with a Cardiologist come soon and you will get answers! xox

  2. Am so sorry to hear this. Glad you are OK. And, now you can move forward and hopefully get the A-fib under control. I'm sure you enjoyed the family.

  3. Sorry to hear you are having this trouble. My Dad had some of this trouble and had it resolved. I hope you are able to get some relief.

  4. Hope you find answers soon! I think we need some sort of go betweens at the hospitals!

  5. That's good news!! AFib is controllable..Way better than a stroke..I think that's why they wanted you to see a neurologist?? Who knows? Glad they got it right this time...It will be either drugs or "ablation"...No biggy..I know 'easy for me to say :) Good luck

  6. tried to leave comment over weekend but it wouldn't let me.
