My daughter, Tracy and I arrived at Lake Pend Oreille in Idaho around noon on Friday and took a little hike to see the sights. And what a beautiful sight it was!
The views from our cabin were absolutely astounding! It had been a bit of a drive on very rough, but mostly dry country dirt roads to get to our cabin but it sure was worth it!
Lake Pend Oreille is 65 miles long and 1150 feet deep, the 5th deepest in the United States.
A Salmon Caesar salad really hit the spot, after a hard day of shopping antique stores in Sandpoint, Idaho. Could it get any better than this?
