Rootin' around in the Attic



Look at the fun things I found in the attic a few years back. Can you believe the artwork on this envelope?

It's all there, including the Nile Green paint, more than likely from the kitchen. I believe these envelopes are from the 1920's. This house was built in 1906 and I found these under the floor boards in one of the attics. Sweet, huh? I scanned these so if any of you want to use them for graphic art, have at it.

  2. I love the instructions on the back of the envelope ...maybe they had memory problems even back then? The store must have taken up two full streets?
