I haven’t been myself lately, just feeling kinda’ poorly…slow moving. No energy, whatsoever! Sorta’ like a cactus grows….so slow you hardly see any progress.
So on that note, I found enough energy to repot some very ‘pot overgrown’ cacti. Recently, my daughter, Tracy, was over viewing my new (not quite done) back porch. She thought I should put this fun repurposed tin, rope, metal knob, branch box up on the window sill, with some cacti. Well, low and behold, I had just the aforementioned item, right in my garage. (I really think it was on the way to the burn pile!)
I am almost done with the other side of the porch and here is another bare wall…..yay!!! This is a start!
Can you see the train through the window? How about that for the old West? Ok, so it’s not old but I am, does that count?
You clever devil ... and you've spawned a clever one as well. Together you could rule the designer world!

ReplyDeleteI have had days like that too..I love the cactus planter. Very clever. and The train in the background great catch... Isn't it nice when a small addition to our decor can boost our mood? Have a great week.. Hope you finish your porch soon.

Now that's really a great looking picture with the view of the train through the window.....The cactus planter looks great. Hope you're feeling better!
ReplyDeletethe cactus is perfect...love the inside of the window painted green. Old age isn't for sissies...what are we going to do when we get really old I wonder..I am so grateful i can do what I want when I want..."To rest after doing nothing is beautiful"...
ReplyDeleteI hate it when I get that way...hope you get some energy soon....
