Sometimes it’s easy to repurpose an item. Some elbow grease and some spray paint goes a long way to making it look almost new again.
Some sanding and dismantle is needed before painting.
This is mine, right?
I paid $14 for the wood horse at a thrift store and spent less than $4 for a can of black spray paint. I had the rest of the paint and the trim. And the best part…..I think my Grandson, Grayson, will love it.
Maybe, you can spot a 'bargain' at a garage sale or thrift and turn it into something special for someone you know. At least, you can have some fun looking! Now that I am finished with that, I do believe the thrift store is calling my name....see you soon with some more treasures.
What kid would'nt love it? Nice job.
ReplyDeleteToo Cute! Good Job! Or ... as you would say ... Sweet!
ReplyDeleteA great transformation of the hobby horse. I love his eyes and the trim..... Any child would love it, Grayson is a lucky boy.
ReplyDeleteHope you find some goodies at the thrift store...
I REALLY like the project! Hmmmmm........it's meant to live in the house with you as an object d'art!
ReplyDelete(Is that how it's spelled? LOL)
