I don’t even know where to begin, this beautiful work of art was fashioned by my friend, Sharon, while I messed around in her ‘creative space’ on Monday. How can you compete with that? No, I was never really trying….I was concentrating on getting the glue off my fingers, the drafting table and places on my card, where it didn’t belong! And when I turned around? Well, it’s just too much!
The only credit I can take for any of this stunning card…I gave her the fabric! ;) Does that count?
Here’s my beauty…..lol We are always like “Mutt and Jeff”, not sure how it really happens but our work is almost always completely opposite of each other’s! (Honest, my orange is not THAT bright! it’s a pretty rusty color).
I can build a house but give me a glue gun and it is a complete disaster !!! These women that make these amazing cards ...well..they amaze me! Do you think it is a learn and pratice thing or they were born knowing how ? Don't think I have enough time left to create one of these...
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to say! Thanx so much for the compliments Karen. DO NOT sell yourself short. I love your November card. Especially brave using cobwebs when I know how you feel about spiders. The right sides of our brains are equally creative ... they simply travel in a different direction. Well ... I said I didn't know what to say so I'd better shut my piehole!
ReplyDeleteActually, really and truly, anyone can 'create'...('play' is a better word, at least for me). And I don't think we should ever give up playing. It truly reminds me of just finishing the trim on a house and stepping back for a good look.....it's that pleasure, that gradifcation, that's what does it for me! It fills me soul with a little joy.
ReplyDeleteOk, I have to tell you....I like yours best! Don't tell Sharon!!!!
ReplyDeleteOk, I'll send that check out today, Bev!!
ReplyDeleteI think your card is beautiful. It's amazing how much time a care goes into just one. Great job.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your new header;-)
What lovely cards, looks like you did have fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the cards, and I soooo appreciate the work that goes into making these lovely cards!
ReplyDeleteGirl, I am giggling so hard...both of you have put out some stunning pieces of art. I applaud you both. I can relate to glue on everything but where it should be. Keep having fun.
