Made in the Shade

With the temperatures in the 90’s and soaring, there is no place like sweet shade…yard 023 (480x640) and more sweet shade….yard 026 (640x339) or what about this?grandsons 009 (442x640)

…it’s a lot of fun too. Instead of sticking inside the house (in more ways than one), we ventured out into the shady back yard, with towel and camera in hand. We both cooled down and had a lot of fun.

  1. What a fun day you must have had with the little guy. Brings back memories of my grandbabies when they were little and played with the hose in my back yard ... trying to get Talon to point at the flowers, and all he wanted to do was wash down the house!

  2. Typical boy!
I had a watchful eye out for the little bugger but he never sprayed me once...I could have used it in the heat, just wait I will really get it sometime soon, when I am not prepared!

  3. Your shade looks so pretty and inviting. Your grandson is adorable, nothing cuter that a toddler playing in the water....a water hose is cheap entertainment.

  4. Sipping from the sprinkler in the summertime. Doesn't get much better than that. It's hot here in Virginia too and the lawns are brown and crinkle under the feet. Nice to see all that green grass you have!
