My Winter Wonderland

2010 snow 013

There is a silent beauty all around me….pristine and oh, so very white.

Trains pass at the very back of my 13 acres, for another lovely country scene.

And this little country cabin, complete with logging saws and gold pan invite visitors to stay as long as they want.

2010 snow 011

This home is vacant all winter…snowbirds…I don’t think they know what they are missing.

2010 snow 012

The tree (the short stubby one) on the left was hit by lightning last year and the group of trees on the right (the left one) was destroyed about 10 days ago in a wind storm.  Nature is ever changing….

2010 snow 015

Even though I don’t tolerate the cold very well, I sure do love to see the magnificent world outside my windows, in the great state of Washington!  I don’t think it gets any better than this…..unless you are up skiing on Mt. Spokane……208

Thank you for your nice comments on my site. Always nice to see you there.
Sill lots to do around here, when one room gets re-done the rest of the house fall apart.
Keep warm. We still have about two feet of snow here.
