Thriftin’ Time Tuesdays

v 041

How about this for ugly? I found three of these and turned them into blackboards….

P1080452 (800x765)

And then I found these…..

P1080514

and turned them into this….

P1080548 (783x800)

I only sprayed the black area…color is off a bit.

P1080515

And I just couldn’t pass up this lovely number….

P1080563 (800x726)

P1080534

Bad to the Bone…

P1080553 (800x510) now a sweet angelic chalkboard. It appears I have a new occupation….I used to be a house painting contractor, now I’m a frame painting contractor! More to come….hey, I’m retired, I have time on my hands and paint on my fingers!

  7. very clever and pretty. I might try and get to the thrift in the next few days, I'm about ready for a fix. Have to go at least once a week. Never know what might be there.

  8. What great transformations, so much better. I see that you're a wee bit addicted to chalk board paint too. I was off to Home Depot earlier for another spray can, I like it better than the paint on stuff. I find myself looking for things to spray. Sad, very sad.

  13. They're all terrific, but I really love the little black numbers. What a difference your painterly touch made there. You just can't seem to get away from paint, can you? Good thing for all who benefit from your transformations! ;)

    Have a wonderful weekend!
